Over more than a decade as a fire department PIO, I’ve managed critical information during active threats, aircraft crashes, animal rescues, building collapses, dive rescues, hazardous materials incidents, ice rescues, mass casualty incidents, major motor vehicle collisions, technical rescues, structure fires, and wildland fires.
